About GURUKRUPA MAHILA VIKAS SANSTHA
Gurukrupa Mahila Vikas Sanstha, registered in 2023, is a social trust based in Haveli Taluka, Pune District, Maharashtra. Although the trust is newly registered, our journey began much earlier.
In 2004, our president, Mrs. Ayodhya Baban Andhale, established Gurukrupa Mahila Bachat Gat (Self Help Group). Since then, the group has been carrying out various social and cultural initiatives, receiving awards and recognition from the Government of Maharashtra.
In 2008, the self-help group began serving nutritious meals under the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, ensuring that children receive healthy food for better education. Today, through central kitchens, we serve 10,200 children daily (5,000 in Pune Municipal Corporation and 5,200 in Haveli Taluka).
To expand our work and attract CSR funding, Gurukrupa Mahila Vikas Sanstha was established as a registered trust in 2023. Our mission is simple yet powerful:
“No child should study on an empty stomach.”
We aim not only to fight hunger but also to empower women through community kitchens and livelihood opportunities.
Our Journey of Compassion and Impact
GURUKRUPA MAHILA VIKAS SANSTHA began with a heartfelt vision: to end child hunger and empower women in our communities. What started as a small initiative led by dedicated local women has grown into a vibrant nonprofit driving lasting change.
Over the years, our journey has been marked by key milestones. Our first community kitchen served nutritious mid-day meals to just 50 children. Today, we reach over 10,200 children every day, ensuring they receive the nourishment needed to focus on their education and dreams.
As our programs expanded, we witnessed remarkable transformations—women finding confidence and financial independence, children thriving in school, and communities uniting for a brighter future. Each milestone inspires us to do more, guided by empathy, hope, and a shared commitment to social development.
We remain steadfast in our mission, continuously adapting and growing to meet the needs of children and families. With the support of our partners, we aim to scale up our reach to serve 20,000 children daily, expand health and education programs, and create more opportunities for women’s empowerment.
